Terms of use
Last updated 27 October 2026
These terms apply to paperfight.xyz (“PaperFight”, “we”, “us”, “the PaperFight team”). By using PaperFight you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the site.
1. What PaperFight is
PaperFight is a game-style interface on top of Papertrade. Each “fight” opens and closes a real leveraged position on your own Papertrade account, using your own wallet. PaperFight is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Papertrade.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and allowed to use leveraged trading products where you live. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you. Don’t use PaperFight from a place where this is restricted.
3. Non-custodial
We never hold your funds, your USDC or your $PAPER. Your positions sit on your own Papertrade account. Every position is signed in your browser, by your wallet or by a 1-tap key that lives only in your browser and can open and close positions but can never withdraw. We can’t move, freeze or recover your funds, and we can’t reverse a trade.
4. Real money, real risk
A fight is a $10 position at 1000× leverage. A small price move against you can lose your whole stake. Results are settled by Papertrade, and Papertrade’s number is the final result. Read the Risk & responsible play page before you play.
Practice. Practice is a free simulation on live prices with a fictional $10. It places no trade, moves no money, has no prize and never counts for the jackpot, badges or progress. A practice result doesn’t predict a real one.
5. Fees
Papertrade charges its own fees. PaperFight’s builder fee is 0.5% of your profit on winning trades opened with a 1-tap key that names PaperFight. The rate is set by Papertrade. You pay it on top of Papertrade’s fees. 10% of it feeds the jackpot, PaperFight keeps the rest. There is no PaperFight fee on losing trades or liquidations. Fees are shown before you open a position. Details are in the docs.
6. Jackpot
The first player to beat the Solo boss (Level 10) takes the whole jackpot. Then the pot restarts. The full rules are at paperfight.xyz/docs#jackpot. In short:
Pot. 10% of PaperFight’s real builder fees on Papertrade for the current round. PaperFight keeps the other 90%. Fees earned before the split started on 26 October 2026 count in full (exact time in jackpot.json). The fees grow with fights closed through PaperFight, wins and losses. Liquidations add nothing. PaperFight also adds its own USDC (the “seed”), held on the public Hyperliquid address 0x2c01080773E224ED5Fc3F5C41E87F67b6b151eD3 and shown live as “Seeded by PaperFight”. The winner gets the round’s jackpot share of the fees and the seed balance at the winning close. PaperFight may change the share, or change or withdraw the seed, before a qualifying win. A share change only applies to fees earned after it, and the site shows it. The pot can be $0.
Eligibility. Only real Solo fights on paperfight.xyz count (never Practice): $10 at 1000×, placed with a 1-tap key that names PaperFight’s builder address. You must clear L1 to L9, each fight routed through PaperFight (Papertrade records PaperFight’s builder fee on it) and within its level’s clock (1 min on L1–L3, 3 min on L4–L6, 5 min on L7–L9; fights opened before 26 October 2026, 11:30 UTC use the clocks in force then: 1 min on L1–L6), then close the boss fight with at least +$12 after fees within 5 minutes, after 26 October 2026, 05:15 UTC. “First” is the earliest qualifying close in Papertrade’s records. You must be 18+ and allowed to use Papertrade.
Verification. Every win is checked against Papertrade’s public records and HyperEVM before payout. A win that fails a check doesn’t count.
Payout. Manual, after verification and after PaperFight claims its fees. It’s paid in USDC (PAPER can’t currently be transferred) to the winner’s wallet on Hyperliquid. We pay the gas. Papertrade’s 10 USDC minimum withdrawal, its payout queue and Hyperliquid’s one-time 1 USDC activation fee for new accounts can delay or reduce what arrives. There’s no fixed deadline.
Changes. We may change, pause or end the jackpot rules at any time. Changes are posted on the docs page. Nothing beyond the published rules is promised.
7. Points
PaperFight shows points (“Season 0”) for real, verified Solo fights since 26 October 2026, 05:15 UTC. Practice earns none. The scoring is public at paperfight.xyz/docs#points.
No value. Points have no monetary value. They aren’t money, a token, a security, a claim on PaperFight or on anything else. They can’t be bought, sold, transferred or redeemed. Nothing is promised in exchange for them: no token, airdrop, NFT, reward or prize.
Changes. We may change the scoring, recount, correct, reset, remove or stop points at any time, and they may never be used for anything. Points earned by abuse (for example wash trading, automation or several wallets used to game the rules) may be removed.
Public names. A public name must not impersonate PaperFight, Papertrade, Hyperliquid, staff or another player, and must not be offensive or unlawful. We may refuse, remove or block any name at any time, without notice.
8. No financial advice
Nothing on PaperFight is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. It’s a game interface. You decide every trade.
9. Third parties
Papertrade, Hyperliquid price feeds, HyperEVM and your wallet are run by others. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their outages, prices, fills, liquidations, fees or rule changes.
10. Acceptable use
Don’t attack, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or try to break the site or anyone’s account. Don’t use PaperFight for anything illegal.
11. As is
PaperFight is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. It may have bugs, show delayed data or go offline. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including trading losses.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
